They were both pretty please. Ezri got Ivan a plush puppy from IKEA who he has named “Stay.” Ivan got Ezri a pink, plush narwhal. I believe she’s named Narlie.

Sure, Jason won. But Ivan sure had a good time playing the new card game Too Many Poops which challenges players to collect cats without overfilling their litterbox.
This year at the Hanukkah party Ivan sung along to the songs with the choir led by his grandpa. While I doubt with his anxieties he will take up musical performance, I noted sitting next to him that his voice is very nice and he is much better at staying on key than his mother. He has also learned all the lyrics to a number of Weird Al songs this winter school break. His favorites being “Radioactive Hamsters from a planet near Mars” and “Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota.” He is also enamored of singing “Particle Man” and “Doctor Worm” by They Might be Giants.
Ivan was thrilled to get half price rice crispy treats and chocolate covered pretzels in the final 30 minutes of the PTA Holiday Breakfast from scouting groups raising money. It shows in this genuine smile.
Ivan and I stopped to see the downtown Downers Grove Santa in his shack by the toy store. We were taking a break from Wizard’s Unite Community day challenges.
Eric got the lights going and put the spaghetti monster on top.
The kids and I got out the ornaments and added them.
Great team work!
Slippers, Zip-up PJs, and stuffed animal all match! Pika-power
