Ivan slept through his sister’s excitement over the presents under the tree.

Finally awake and interested in shiny wrapped packages.

It’s a good thing Ivan has this smile, because it really does help the sleep-deprived parents feel better about things.

Ivan has a tooth just peeking through his gum. A tooth! Average age for first tooth is 6 months and Ivan is just 3 months.

Also, Ivan found that older girls adore his baby cuteness. Here he is receiving a kiss from Eleanor. Eleanor’s older sister was also very sweet and loving to the little guy.

The important thing to know is that when I set him down his head was resting on the burp cloth at the right side of the photo just in case he did a bit of spitting up. He scooted all the way down the blanket BY HIMSELF. What happened to the reliable baby who stayed where I set him.

He has rolled over twice now from his back to his front and would do it more often if he could figure out what to do with his arms.
