While eating celery at school lunch yesterday, Ivan lost his first tooth.
The tooth fairy visited last night leaving 4 shiny quarters and a very small ceramic cat.

Off to Tot School
Me: You are going to go to school and you will meet friends.
Ivan: Eat friends?
Me: No, meet friends.
Ivan: EAT FRIENDS! EAT FRIENDS! EAT FRIENDS! Hahahaha!
His sister put on her shoes to walk him out, but she didn’t bother with daytime clothes. Oh, to live the relaxed life of the afternoon kindergarten girl.
Kiwi Camp
“Kiwi Camp” is where Ivan believes he is going for a first day camp experience. It is, in fact, called Peewee Camp. I think the alliteration of his sister’s Camp Kindergarten has him confused.
After being entirely surly about getting out of the house and getting going, Ivan discovers that his hour long day camp is, in fact, fun. This is due in large part to the corner filled with trucks and a plastic garage. I am proud to see him so content staying at camp with a new teacher while Ezri and I left.

Oh, and watermelon is also a summer wonder.
