So proud of Ivan for getting up and performing in front of the students and assembled parents. He even smiled for the group photo.

Ivan is proud of this leprechaun trap he designed with his partner, Brendan. The floor is sticky and it has a TV and couch inside to lure the leprechaun into the trap with comfortable entertainment.

I never posted school photos here when they came back in October. Ivan wore the same shirt as his 1st grade school photo but did not smile for the camera. He’ll have to pick a new shirt next year because this one will be too small.

So, if Ivan doesn’t want to wear his pajamas can I take his pajama day and wear mine to work this afternoon?

Ivan says, “My partner was Alphonsa. My tower was 81/2 inches tall. It fell over the first time we tried but then we used the broken tower to make a better one. If I could do it again I would make it symmetrical. PS -it was a marshmallow tower.”

Ivan asked Jason to come as his VIP to share an hour in Mrs. Montes’ 2nd grade with him this morning.

In his electronic journal under his photo with Jason he wrote, “Jason get back here THIS INSTANT!” I think that means he liked having Jason in class.

School is serious business.
