First day in the yard on their way to school.

Ivan made a poster of fun facts about himself and it was displayed in his classroom for the week.

He included his family and his pets. He listed his current favorite book Hamstersaurus Rex and the fact that he likes basil ice cream.

Here we are at the last day of school.

This was in their first week of school – I did not realize until this moment that Ivan wore the same shirt on both occasions.

Gym Jam gave all the boys MVP badges. Earlier this year Ivan took me to school on his school’s very important person day when they can show a grown-up their classroom.
When Ivan read his MVP badge he said, “I’m your M.V.P. and you are my V.I.P.”

Dodgeball had its highs and tears, but overall Ivan said, “I like this gym jam. Is this a good night?” He wanted to play more dodgeball, it’s just hard when you are with the 3rd graders to get a ball to throw.
