The season has ended with a s’mores celebration.
Ivan’s favorite team names of their opponents were the Thunder Dragons and the John Cenas.

They did not win, but they played with heart and enthusiasm.
Ivan is happy to be playing with a team of boys from his school. His new coach is enthusiastic, positive and the boys are lucky to have him.
Ezri made a “Go Dragon Panthers!” sign with her sparkle pens to root for the team.
Ivan got plenty of time on the field and his team won just as the heavy rain began on Saturday.
Ivan had his first game yesterday and his second today.

He was hit in the head hard with the ball at the end of the first game and still really excited to play again.
The team is working on noticing when the person who has the ball is on their team and not stealing it.
They are also working on seeing open players and remembering to watch the ball when on defense.
It’s pretty adorable and passionate on the Kindergarten soccer field.
Ezri made this to cheer for her favorite player yesterday. Today she mostly climbed trees with another player’s older sister.

After soccer, Ivan told me he was sad it was Friday. I asked why. Because there’s no soccer until next Friday and that is A LONG TIME.

This is Ivan’s face when he is a ninja cat who has taken the form of a poop emoji to fight bad guys. He tells me he smells really bad. That’s how he gets them.
The store only had two pairs of shoes in his size. They were both green. These were the ones that were “more comfortable AND more green.”
Ivan is very excited. “I am going to be on A TEAM. A TEAM!” He is also pretty sure he’ll be good. As he says, “I am a very good kicker and you kick in soccer.”
