Ezri and Ivan have a debate over the cause of the spring rains.
Ivan’s theory is Sky Bears with water guns.
Ezri is certain that it is weather fairies because it is WEATHER!

Here they are ready to go off to school on May the 4th.

Ivan did not want a hotdog for lunch. He did want a hotdog bun. He also wanted a banana.

He put them together to create the banana dog.

“No,” says Ivan.

Mostly this sibling pair are excellent playmates. But sometimes Ivan just wants to climb on Ezri and sometimes that’s cool with her, but sometimes he has to be removed.

Spring break is pretty great.
We ate bagels and sang You are My Sunshine.

The kids went to Nature Camp this morning.
When asked what their favorite thing about camp was, Ivan said “the rocks” and Ezri said “MUD!”
Hoo-ray for spring and new green and more time outside.

After the popularity of Santa Pancakes, I decided to do Bunny Pancakes.
Ivan asked if they could have bacon ears and Eric made bacon.

“I eated his heart. Can I have another heart?”
Yes, Ivan you may have another strawberry. He also got extra banana feet.

The Loyola Quidditch team taught kids to play at C2E2.

I thought Ivan was too young, but he begged to play and the coaches let him.
He did his best at the position of bludger.
“I hitted Ezri with the ball.”
He bounced around on his broomstick and enjoyed the experience very much.

Ivan was only too happy to wear a green shirt, green pants, green socks, green ninja turtle shoes, and a green jacket for St. Patrick’s Day. He was also entranced by this small leprechaun hat and insisted on wearing it to school.

Today is red day at his preschool. He doesn’t have red shoes, but his underwear have a red waistband. Red is his second favorite color since sometime right after Christmas. Sometimes he will even choose it over green. He’s enjoying color week at preschool.

Ivan is my ballot casting helper this morning. He’s very good at following the red arrows to through St. Andrews to the voting station.
