Ivan loved playing with Zev and Esben. Turns out they like many of the same things and are all quite good at playing Risk and Llamas Unleashed. They also enjoyed some backyard baseball and talking about Plants vs. Zombies.
Ivan successfully used his plants to beat back the zombie invastion and save the day.
A few weeks ago to celebrate Charlie turning 8, his friends took to the ropes course at Go Ape.
Ivan was gifted with Steve the Water Sausage by Aunt Coral. While he has had to be cautioned not to allow Steve the Water Sausage to pee in his sister’s bed, the transition to this new plush pet is mostly going well.
Ivan performed his form well and even introduced himself to the judges in a voice they could hear. Ivan then had a break down when he realized he wouldn’t make top three in his division in forms and it took him a long while to calm down. On the whole, the tournament was good and Ivan is already talking about going next year which is a win in my book! Proud of the kid though he needs work on losing with grace.
It was chilly and windy this early spring day but the flowers were blooming and the cafe had pudding parfait so all was happy!
