Last Day of Kindergarten for Ivan and Second Grade for Ezri!
Here we are at the last day of school.
This was in their first week of school – I did not realize until this moment that Ivan wore the same shirt on both occasions.
Poop Clouds Are Gathering
Ivan’s pictures of the poop monster out in the poop rain.
It is raining poop from the poop clouds that he tells me are gathering.
There is a green grinch surrounded by his poop suit and apparently poop lightning is a thing to watch out for.
I try to shield my kids from the current political climate but perhaps he is processing through art.
He loved this image so much he drew it twice and suggested this summer we could sell this art at a lemonade stand because people would want their own poop monster art.

Reading Just Joking by Andy Griffiths with Ezri. These kids are going to fill their summer reading logs from the library before school gets out next Friday.

Field Day Volunteering
Ivan made my stepping in to volunteer at field day feel totally worth it with this conversation.

Camo Dome
Our brush clearing project was turned into a zombie apocalypse survival hut.
The kids camouflaged the play dome well with branches and leaves.
The zombies will never suspect we’re in this shrubbery.
Pokemon bowling – Gotta get ’em all!
Ivan helped me decorate these inflatable bowling pins for an event at the library.
He also helped test them for fun factor. They are fun! The kids just finished a bowling unit in P.E. and i think it shows.
