After nap, I asked the kids if they wanted to explore a park we’d never been to before.
I think this exploration was a rousing success.
Ivan ran the whole length of this soccer field chanting, “Supah Fast! Supah Fast!”
When he got to the far side he really wanted to climb. I was lagging behind, but heard him calling, “Help. Boost, Evvie, boost.” His sister pulled him on up.
Faux tire swings are awesome. Ivan said, “More swing. More spin.”
We found a softball in the grassy meadow by the baseball diamond.
Ivan seems to have better control of his pitching than Ezri. I think he may have learned a thing or two watching her summer softball class.
Ivan declared this playground discovery to be “bumpy slide!”
We may have to explore some more parks we’ve never been to before.
was this mccollum? because if so, ezri actually HAS been there before! totally walking distance from my house. it is actually good to know there are some things she doesn’t remember. 🙂
Ezri had forgotten her McCollum trip with you. Well, it was all new for Ivan! We had a blast there.
it is a really nice park! 🙂
