Ivan got a haircut like his sister, but for him this trip was all about the stop for frozen yogurt. Gummy frogs are a topping!
He found a penny in the bathroom and used it to throw into the fountain solemnly saying, “I wish for more screen time.”
Ivan read the whole thing in one sitting. Kids picking their own books is brilliant.
He also got Super Diaper Baby by Dav Pilkey and recounted the whole plot to me in the car this morning complete with trivia questions for me.
It took some doing but he got it to stay with no hands.
Crowns also make good vehicles for small plastic guys.
Especially C there who wouldn’t put down her book to swing or eat preferring to do both tasks simultaneously.

The Blue Team did not win. Ivan, looking up at the score board, said, “OH! Dang IT!!!”
After soccer, Ivan told me he was sad it was Friday. I asked why. Because there’s no soccer until next Friday and that is A LONG TIME.
