He used to fall asleep in the car all the time in the afternoon, but not in recent years.

Illness has knocked him out.

He’s missed 3 days of school this week.
He ate a cookie and then declared he was too tired and sick to eat his other cookie.
He was not too sick to play video games with his family. He said,”I would be in the emergency room, if I was that sick.”
I think he’d at least be at the pediatrician if he was that sick.

So, planning the winter party for Ivan’s class took some time, but when I came and did the party he kept saying, “That’s my mom. NO, it really IS.” He was so excited to have me there and to tell his kindergarten classmates that I was his mom that I really felt the love.

I did a yeti and abominable snow monster themed storytime.
